The Sabre® AirServ® In-flight Solutions offers a suite of integrated, modular in-flight solutions that manages all aspects of airline in-flight operations and food for purchase programs. The suite reduces airline costs while improving the overall effectiveness of the airline in-flight team. It streamlines aircraft provisioning needs by reducing meal boarding overage levels, automating multiple provisioning opportunities, reducing airline-owned inventory levels, standardizing pricing process and location of airline-accepted prices for all caterers and suppliers, automating invoice audit process and decreasing costs of invoice inaccuracy, all supported by robust data analysis. The system can be deployed in customizable solution sets to maximize an airline’s return on investment.

Sabre® AirServ® Specification Manager helps an airline consolidate its entire menu planning operation. The Specification Manager stores not only ingredients, recipes and billing codes, but also preparation instructions and digital images to ensure quality production.
Meal Service Planning
Sabre® AirServ® Scheduling Optimizer enables an airline to define its service rules and policies, and then automates the ongoing creation of service plans in which menus are matched to the flight schedule.
Operational Scheduling
Sabre® AirServ® Enhanced Scheduler updates an airline’s provision ing plan through integration to the flight operations system. It ensures that provisioning schedules are always in line with the latest flight schedule adjustments and provides pertinent alerts to suppliers.
Weight and Galley Plan Management
Sabre® AirServ® Galley Manager enables an airline to plan aircraft galley loading with automatic monitoring of the weight being loaded and available space within each galley and position.

Meal Ordering
The Sabre® AirServ® Meal Ordering Optimizer directly connects to an airline reservations and departure control system to drive the most accurate passenger forecasting in the market. This system may be deployed as a stand-alone system. It is also configurable for buy-on-board sales forecasting.
Service Reporting
Sabre® AirServ® Catering Report Generator provides comprehensive boarding bill and catering check sheet to ensure that all services are boarded correctly and can be easily audited by an airline’s flight attendants.

Billing
Sabre® AirServ® Billing Manager provides a single source of record and communication of prices across all products and services. The system ensures that an airline consistently pays only for services that have actually been provided and at prices that the airline has agreed upon contractually. It enables invoice approval based on the system’s thorough audit validation mechanisms.
Data Analysis
Sabre® AirServ® In-flight Data Analyzer supplies robust reporting to monitor expenses by general ledger, markets, class, available seat miles, fleet type and caterer. This system provides the ability to link level of service to route profitability, compare planned and actual budgets, and track the drivers that impact accounts positively and negatively.
INVENTORY AND EQUIPMENT MANAGEMENT
Equipment Placement
Sabre® AirServ® Equipment Balancer automatically creates orders to move surplus inventory to stations with inventory requirements, reducing the total airline-owned inventory system-wide.
Equipment Forecasting
Sabre® AirServ® Equipment Forecaster predicts future use of airline- owned items by station based upon flight schedule, forecasted passenger count, levels of service and provisioning rates over a specified time period. The outputs can be directed to suppliers and warehouse locations to provide production requirements and planned budgetary impacts .
Equipment Management
Sabre® AirServ® Equipment Manager provides a single online source for all of an airline’s inventory tracking and reporting needs. This system enables an airline to tightly manage stock levels across all stations to ensure it is optimizing use of its inventory and minimizing its stock and holding costs.
