Cargo Revenue Accounting

Sabre® CargoMax™ Accounting Manager enables an air cargo company to improve financial control, enhance decision making and automate the rating and proration processes. From the initial sales contact to final accounting action, the system provides the flexibility to calculate and report detailed, accurate and complete net revenue data as well as real-time rates and prorates to determine the revenue of each shipment.

Accounting Manager delivers a flexible, complete integration of revenue accounting functions with operational data so an air cargo company can:

  • Increase control and accuracy of interline billings and collections resulting in shortened billing cycles.
  • Improve the ability to audit and control station and agent receivables.

Cargo Claims Management

Sabre® CargoMax™ Claims Manager, a patented application, provides a vehicle to track and process claims in an accurate and timely manner. The system integrates a Windows client/server system and imaging technology to facilitate the processing of claims, the creation of correspondence, check authorization, check printing and management reporting.

Claims Manager enables an air cargo organization to:

  • Lower overall costs associated with claim processing and resolution. Since automated tasks help reduce the time required to process each claim, fewer agents are necessary to resolve the same number of cases. Analysts and management can quickly identify those claims that need special attention, and less physical storage space is needed to warehouse the data.
  • Increase efficiency through the use of imaging technology. An analyst or adjuster can retrieve and view all documents related to a specific air waybill, track and report the status of any claim, and generate correspondence within seconds.
  • Resolve claims faster and improve customer goodwill. Because claims are stored electronically, users can share claims, document images, correspondence and notes.

Cargo Shipment Scheduling and Tracking

Sabre® CargoMax™ Reservations Manager provides an air cargo operation with reliable booking, inventory control and shipment tracking capabilities. This mainframe-based tool gives airlines around the world real-time system access while relieving them of data center and network management so they can focus on their core competencies. Providing a separate database for each airline, the system helps ensure the confidentiality of each carrier’s operations.

The integrated functions and automated cargo tasks give rise to a highly efficient cargo reservations and shipment process. Results of this enhanced process include increased accuracy of air waybill data collection and immediate access to correct customer shipment information for improved customer service.
