Sabre AirMax Suite
Enhanced Revenue Management | Group Traffic Management | Day-of-Departure Control
Today’s airlines require systems that enable them to selectively
accept or reject passenger bookings based on their overall revenue contributions
and adjust inventories and prices up to and including the day of operation
in response to demand. Revenue management often means the difference between
profit and loss.
The Sabre® AirMax® Revenue Management Suite offers sophisticated tools to manage an airline’s revenue.

Group Traffic Management
Sabre® AirMax® Group Manager is an innovative solution that helps revenue management and reservations agents effectively control group traffic. The system evaluates group traffic utilizing historical and current traffic data, forecasts booking activity and tracks the behavioral characteristics of individual group requests. The system's data analyses help an airline make informed revenue management decisions. Using information provided by AirMax Revenue Manager, Group Manager displays the financial consequences of accepting a group that may displace higher priced individual customers. Group Manager, operating as a stand-alone system or in conjunction with AirMax Revenue Manager, enables an airline to evaluate both one- time or ad hoc groups as well as series groups, those groups requesting the same flights over a period of time.
Revenue enhancement from utilizing Group Manager is typically in the range of 1% to 2% depending on the airline’s current group management processes and the modules installed. The system has been implemented successfully at more than 12 major industry carriers.
Day-of-Departure Control
The Sabre® AirMax® Day-of-Departure Manager helps departure operations analysts identify, analyze and take action on any flight during the 24 hours prior to departure. This problem-identification system accesses both reservations and flight operations data from the reservations system and provides all the functionality needed to effectively view and manage flights within an airline system.
Capitalizing on Day-of-Departure Manager functionality, airlines can decrease operations costs associated with oversales, spoilage and reaccommodation services.
