- The Sabre Airline Solutions® business signed more than 100 system contracts with airlines in the Asia/Pacific region in 2006.
- The Sabre Airline Solutions unique suite of integrated tools for a systems operations control center are utilized in Asia/Pacific by Cathay Pacific Airways, China Eastern, China Southern Airlines, Virgin Blue and Air New Zealand.
- Sabre Airline Solutions has regional offices in Auckland, Sydney, Singapore, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Beijing, Shanghai, Bangalore and Mumbai.
- Sabre® eMergo® Web access, the leading application service provider offering for the airline transportation industry, has added several Asia/Pacific carriers in the last 12 months including the Sabre® AirMax® Essentials Reporter at Skywest Airlines, the Sabre® Traverse™ loyalty management system at Bangkok Airways and Air Tahiti Nui, as well as Sabre® WiseVision™ Sales Essentials at Cebu Pacific, Royal Brunei and Vietnam Airlines.
- 2006 market share gains in Asia/Pacific for Sabre Airline Solutions were achieved across all areas including airline software applications, airline reservations and airline consulting engagements.
- Sabre Holdings and its joint venture GDS partners provide the most extensive market and agency reach of any GDS network in Asia/Pacific
- During the last year, Sabre Airline Solutions has been able to assist airlines to best meet their customers needs with the following products:
- Sabre® AirFlite™ Planning and Scheduling Suite — employed by Air China in March 2005, Hainan Airlines in February 2005 and by both Qantas and British Airways in June 2004.
- Sabre® Streamline® Resource Management Suite — employed since February 2005 by Thai Airways.
- Sabre® AirMax® Revenue Management Suite — employed by Malaysia Airlines since January 2005.
- SabreSonic® Passenger Solutions — implemented by Valuair in November 2004.
- Sabre® Movement Manager, part of the Sabre® AirOps™ Suite — employed by Malaysia Airlines since September 2004
