OVERVIEW
Sabre Airline Solutions® is very pleased to welcome you to the 2008 Flight Scheduling User Conference to be held in Ventura, California, on 9-11 September 2008.
The User Conference is the forum for our customers to discuss issues, challenges and opportunities in the use of our Planning and Scheduling solutions. It’s also an opportunity for us to showcase the latest developments in our products and share our ongoing product plans. In particular, we will be showing the latest features in our 2008 Release and discussing upcoming features in our 2009 Release.
This year’s agenda has been developed by our User Executive Committees and Product Managers with an emphasis on user presentations that will demonstrate how our customers are using our solutions to run their businesses, leading to a discussion on tips, tricks and best practices for the user community. In addition we will have various workshops where users will be able to raise issues or problems they are experiencing and get collective feedback from other users and Sabre product experts.
The 2008 User Conference will have several different tracks including:
- Schedule Manager
- SlotManager IATA
- Fleet Manager
- Profit Manager
- PC AirFlite
- Planet
- Codeshare Manager and Schedule Publication
- IT/Technical
- Delivery and Customer Support
- Business Process Workshop (8 September)
This year we are also offering a full day business process workshop on Monday 8 September at no extra charge. The optional workshop is constructed to introduce network planning and scheduling design concepts. We’ll be using Schedule Manager as well as some MSExcel-based tools (which participants can take home with them) to design a “clean sheet” network and schedule for a 14-aircraft airline that operates to 12 stations. Robert Westgate and Andrea Deniset will be leading the workshop. The workshop “assignment” will be e-mailed 1 week in advance to participants. Please note that space at the Business Process Workshop is limited and will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis via e-mail request to robert.westgate@sabre.com.
Who Should Attend?
If you use any of the above Sabre Planning and Scheduling solutions, or if you are responsible for providing these solutions to others in your airline, you should attend this conference. Attending this conference will give you the most current picture of the latest developments in the solutions as well as work in progress. You will also get an opportunity to raise your questions and get answers on using the solutions and customer best practices from Sabre product experts as well as your peers at other airlines. This conference is also your opportunity to decide who should be on the User Executive Committee to represent you. Please see the agenda for details on the individual tracks and register for the conference tracks of most interest to you.
We are looking forward to seeing you at what promises to be a very productive User Conference.
